'La La Means I Love You' composed by Thom Bell and William Hart, charted No. 2 on Billboard's R&B Singles the week ending March 23, 1968. The song's inspiration came from William Hart's infant son who use to sing 'la la'. Those two syllables inspired Hart to compose 'La La Means I Love You' as a love song.
